Standard Bank Limited has reported their half-yearly business account with 224 million increased net profit.As per un-audited half yearly accounts as on 30.06.12 (Jan’12 to June’12), the Company has reported consolidated net profit after tax of Tk. 648.07 million with consolidated EPS of Tk. 1.33 as against Tk. 424.04 million and Tk. 0.87 (restated) respectively for the same period of the previous year. Whereas consolidated net profit after tax was Tk. 234.64 million with consolidated EPS of Tk. 0.48 for the period of 3 months (Apr’12 to June’12) ended on 30.06.12 as against Tk. 132.92 million and Tk. 0.27 (restated) respectively for the same period of the previous year.

In the first quarter also the company showed around 122 million more profit after tax than the same period of the previous year.
