SEC Chairman

Surveillance software will be installed in SEC within October this year.SEC chairman Mr. M Khairul Hossain said this today on a certificate giving ceremony where he attended as chief guest.Bangladesh Institute of Capital Market (BICM) and Capital Market Journalists Forum (CMJF) jointly arranged a training workshop on Financial Journalism.Today was the certificate giving function for those journalists who participated in that trining course.SEC chairman was the chief guest there and in his speech he said, ‘We are working hard to develop the current situation of capital market.Already we have corrected, modified and updated some present law and regulations of stock market.Beside this, we have taken initiative to add some new act and regulations with the existing law and regulations which will be appropriate in the context of Bangladesh.He added, by this October SEC will have Surveillance software installed in their system which will surely increase their control on two stock market of the country.
